1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the client portal ("Portal") operated by Sharma & Associates, a chartered accountant firm registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) (FRN: 0202020). By accessing or using the Portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Purpose of the Portal

The Portal is a secure, private platform provided exclusively for existing clients of Sharma & Associates. It allows clients to access their tax filings, financial statements, balance sheets, and related documents uploaded by our team.

3. Account & Access

• Access to the Portal is by invitation only. Accounts are created by our administrative team.
• You are required to change your password upon first login. Continued use of the default password is not permitted.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must not share your account credentials with any other person.
• You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for security or administrative reasons.

4. Acceptable Use

When using the Portal, you agree NOT to:

• Attempt to access data belonging to other clients
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Portal
• Attempt to circumvent security measures or exploit vulnerabilities
• Upload malicious files or content
• Use the Portal for any purpose other than accessing your own documents
• Share, redistribute, or publicly disclose documents from the Portal without authorization

5. Data Ownership

All documents and data uploaded to your account remain your property.Sharma & Associates acts as a custodian of your data and does not claim ownership over any client documents stored on the Portal.

You may request a copy of all your data or request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us. Deletion requests are subject to our legal and regulatory obligations to retain certain records for 7 years.

6. Intellectual Property

The Portal software, including its design, layout, and underlying code, is proprietary and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Portal. The firm name, logo, and branding displayed on the Portal are the property of Sharma & Associates.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Portal is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive to maintain high availability and data accuracy, we do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Portal
• That the Portal will be free from viruses or other harmful components
• The accuracy or completeness of any information displayed on the Portal

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sharma & Associates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Portal.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Portal after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
